Friendzone Buildathon — Terms & Conditions

Organizer: DCL Regenesis Labs Foundation (“RGL”), a Cayman Islands Foundation Company

1. Overview

The Friendzone Buildathon (“Buildathon”) is a free-to-enter building competition inviting creators to develope persistent, mobile-first social experiences for Decentraland.

The Buildathon runs from August 14 to September 13, 2026. Projects must be submitted through the official DoraHacks campaign by September 4, 2026, at the deadline time displayed on the campaign page.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By registering, participating, submitting a project, or accepting a reward, each participant agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

Participation is also subject to the applicable terms, policies, and community standards of Decentraland, DoraHacks, GitHub, and any other third-party services used by the participant.

3. Eligibility

The Buildathon is open to individuals and teams worldwide, except where participation or receipt of prizes is prohibited by applicable law.

By participating, you represent that:

• You have the legal capacity to accept these Terms
• You are of the legal age required in your jurisdiction
• You are legally permitted to use Decentraland, digital assets, and cryptocurrency
• You are legally permitted to receive the offered prizes
• All information submitted by you is accurate

RGL may request additional information where reasonably necessary to verify eligibility or distribute a prize. If you are unsure whether you are eligible, you should not participate.
